Aerosol Counting, Composition, Extinction and Sizing System Model 9400 Series Modules

Description

Portable and fast, ACCESS allows size distribution and chemistry measurements from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and other mobile platforms.
The ACCESS (Aerosol Counting, Composition, Extinction and Sizing System) suite of instruments is ideal for applications including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), personal exposure monitoring, and other mobile platforms requiring small size, portability, low weight, and low power usage.

The ACCESS line includes the Model 9403 aMCPC for rapid total number concentration observations, The Model 9404 mSEMS for number size distribution measurements between 5 and 300 nm, the Model 9405 mOPC for number size distribution measurements between 190 and 3000 nm, the Model 9406 STAP for black carbon measurements, and the Model 9401 FILT TEM grid and filter sampler for off-line chemical composition measurements. The Model 9400 Base Module provides a compact PC with the UAV Reader software to control and communicate with all the modules. Select the links on this page to learn more about each module.

Each of the ACCESS devices fits in the palm of your hand, with typical dimensions between 2 and 6 inches (5-15 cm) and weights between 0.4 and 7.3 lb (0.2-3.3 kg). The small size and weight make the devices easy to deploy on a UAV, small research aircraft, balloon platform, or even inside a backpack.
