BMI Facilities
Located at 1789 Addison Way, Hayward, CA.
The BMI 8,500 sq. ft. facility includes a full-service machine shop
and an aerosol research laboratory.
The machine Shop is well equiped with:
- CNC mill
- CNC lathe
- CNC waterjet machine
- MASTERCAM Software

- High vacuum Brazing and coating furnaces
- High quality TIG Welding equipment
- Various standard machine shop items, saw, vertical mill, lathes, etc.
The aerosol research laboratory is also well equiped with:
- Particle generation systems
- Scanning Electrical Mobility Sizing Systems (SEMS)
- Condensation particle counters (CPC)
- Optical particle counters (OPC)
- Ultra-pure water system
- Ion chromatagraphy System (IC)
- Clean benches
- Small bore wind tunnel (up to 220 mph [120m/s] in an 8" bore)
