BMI fabricates conventional round-jet impactors that are great to use in front of differential mobility analyzers, particle into liquid samplers and other instruments requiring the removal of large particles from the sample air stream.

Our impactors are offered with the following features and specifications:

• Particle cut-sizes of 0.5, 1, 1.1, 1.8, and 2.5 micron diameter (for density=1.5 g/cc)
• Operating air flow rates between 5 and 30 lpm
• Minimal particle bounce through a 'particle trap' design
• Optional integrated differential pressure sensor
• Optional integrated temperature sensor
• Custom units are available with cut sizes and flow rates tailored to your specific needs
